Auch die bestgemeinten Anfeuerungsrufe von Christian Höfler führten zum Saisonauftakt nicht zum gewünschten Erfolg. Nach starkem Beginn unserer Mannschaft, ließ ein Foulelfmeter nach 30. Minuten das Spiel zu Gunsten von Schott Mainz kippen. Durch zwei weitere dilettantische Abwehrfehler noch in der ersten Hälfte war die Partie zur Halbzeit schon entschieden und der Saisonauftakt misslungen. Schon am Freitag beim Spiel in Offenbach muss unsere Mannschaft den ersten Reifeprozess Richtung professionellen Verhalten durchlaufen, um im Laufe der Runde sportlich und ergebnistechnisch mitzuhalten.
